A letter from our Founder

The fight for our time and attention will never fade away.

What will we do about this ever slipping slope of more to do’s than we can physically do?

I have heard and seen it so much for many channels and avenues from in person to online. Begging and pleading for some advice on the balances in life and how to focus on some “me time”.

Whether you are a busy mother, professional student, aspiring artist or entrepreneur, time is a delicate thing.

This should be an easy guide to helping you reframe some key points which could help you win some “me time” back.

Claim your self-care rituals as a priority in the agenda, highlighting it as something to look forward to.  Prioritizing your self-care also allows you to be more productive and motivated reaching into your days and weeks ahead.

Try creating gratitude list  focused on acknowledging the practices you already have in place like appointments for hair and nail maintenance, yoga and movement, or reading in a quiet place. Things to also consider as self-care could be shopping for groceries at your favorite healthy market, a creative hobby, or enjoying time in nature.

You don’t always have to change your routine to make time for self care, instead try a gentle shift in how you think about your routine. For example try watching a movie with a face mask on. Maybe treat yourself to your favorite coffee or tea while running errands or dropping the kids off at school.

The goal is to focus your attention on how these practices make you feel and continue using what makes you feel good.
